A little about Chief Chris Connealy:

connealyChris Connealy has served as fire chief of the Cedar Park Fire Department since March 2004. Cedar Park is a rapidly growing community that borders Northwest Austin and has 74 members and four fire stations. He served over 25 years with the Houston Fire Department and retired January 2004. He promoted through the ranks and retired as fire chief. Chris has associate, bachelor, and master degrees. He is accredited as a Chief Fire Officer, EFO graduate, and completed the Harvard University State and Local Executive Fellowship program. He is the Chairman of the Texas Commission on Fire Protection, serves on the Texas Fire Chiefs Association executive board, and received various awards during his career in the fire service. Chris serves as an adjunct instructor for TEEX and Austin Community College. He has two sons that are 20 and 18 years-old.
